“MosBuild allows us to present our new products to potential customers” Hansgrohe

Dmitry Uraev, Marketing Director for Hansgrohe Russia, tells us about the company’s brands, new products and goals for MosBuild 2020.

Dmitry, how many years has your company been participating in MosBuild?

About 20: we’ve been with the show almost since its launch.

Could you tell us more about Hansgrohe’s key advantages and its selling points?

We’re a German company, founded in 1901 by Hans Grohe, and manufacture products under the hansgrohe and AXOR brands. We produce faucets for the bathroom and kitchen, showers and shower systems, as well as thermostats, drain systems and accessories.

The International Design Forum’s iF WORLD DESIGN INDEX 2019 currently ranks Hansgrohe 1st in terms of sanitary-ware producers and 10th out of 4,215 companies operating in various sectors – we’re a leader in the plumbing industry and are leading innovators in the global sanitaryware market. For over a century, we’ve developed many innovations: the world's first shower bar, the Selecta shower with different sprays, colour showers and single-lever mixers, iBox Universal concealed installation system, AirPower and EcoSmart technologies that conserve water, and the Select button technology.

Why do you exhibit at MosBuild and what are your main goals for MosBuild 2020?

MosBuild has a global significance – it’s been Russia’s no.1 build and interiors forum for many years. Not everyone in Russia can attend international exhibitions, so a lot of companies, including Hansgrohe, present their latest achievements here at MosBuild. The exhibition enables us to present our new products, achievements, and technologies to a vast number of potential customers. It’s important that MosBuild features almost everything needed for renovation and construction.

What new products do you plan to present at MosBuild 2020?

Next year, Hansgrohe, with its brands AXOR and hansgrohe, is set to impress visitors with ground-breaking innovations for bathrooms and kitchens. Our premium brand AXOR presents its second collaborative collection with French designer Jean-Marie Massot - AXOR Edge. Axor will also present the AXOR MyEdition faucet collection in a range of different materials. A new kitchen faucet by Italian architect Antonio Citterio completes the brand’s new products.

The hansgrohe brand will introduce the Rainfinity shower product line – an ultra-modern shower than indulges and pampers with its micro-fine and ultra-quiet PowderRain jet. The innovative design is eye-catching with its concave shower head and black and white design. Hansgrohe will also showcase new faucets, sinks and accessories for the kitchen, greatly simplifying household chores.

Who is Hansgrohe’s target audience?

The professional building and home improvement community: trading partners, architects and designers, construction organisations, investors and developers, as well as the general public, people who buy new housing or are renovating themselves.

How do you measure the effectiveness of past exhibitions?

We see a response from our partners, high activity on social media, and we also use the company's internal tools to evaluate the effectiveness of our time on-site.

How did MosBuild 2019 affect Hansgrohe’s sales?

It was only positive.

Have you already started preparing for MosBuild 2020?

Yes, we’re already developing a new stand design, planning product placement, as well as preparing competitions and surprises for our stand visitors.

We’re looking forward to meeting the professional community in the build and interiors industry from 31 March – 3 April at MosBuild 2020!
