Dejan Delić, Director of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, shared his positive feedback and intentions to present even more Serbian companies in 2019. Delić foresees the high competitive performance of Serbian goods and expects preliminary contracts to be signed for supplying products to the Russian market as a result of MosBuild.
After MosBuild the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Serbia has announced that Serbian companies exhibiting at MosBuild 2018 signed contracts worth €4 million in total.
The Russian market is key for Serbian companies thanks to a bilateral agreement on free trade and strategic cooperation aimed at enhancing commercial and economic relationships, and advancing the economic development of both countries.
At a recent meeting with the Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin pointed out the progress the two countries had already made: “I am glad to see the development of our relationship, primarily in the economic sphere. The sales turnover and direct investments are growing.”
Vučić also mentioned the amicable nature of the relationship between Russia and Serbia: “We expect it to be possible to enhance this political and economic cooperation at the highest level.”
