It’s Russia’s leading platform for the building and interiors industry, where buyers come from across Russia and beyond to source the latest materials and products from the world’s top manufacturers and suppliers.
In 2018, 29 Polish companies exhibited at MosBuild, looking to expand their business contacts and leads on the Russian market. Among them was the Polish Investment Trade Agency (PAIH). We spoke to Wojciech Chatys of PAIH to find out about the agency’s first time exhibiting at the show.
“There are 29 companies from Poland, which shows the importance of this market for the Polish construction industry and the industry of building and finishing materials. So far, we’re very satisfied with our presence and we’re looking forward to continuing this cooperation in the future.
“The Polish Investment Trade Agency (PAIH) is a governmental body that runs a promotion programme for the construction industry. The programme itself aims to promote Polish companies from the construction industry on different markets including Russia, the United Arab Emirates, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan.
“MosBuild is our second exhibition of the year. It’s definitely the biggest one we have been part of, and the numbers speak for themselves. There are 1,200 exhibitors from more than 40 countries and this is absolutely one of the largest and the biggest exhibitions in this part of Europe, and even in this part of the world.
"That shows for itself why we should be here as part of the Polish stand and why our company is so attracted to this market. We’ve talked to them many times during this exhibition and they stressed the importance of this market for the construction industry.
“So we are pleased with our presence and hope we’ll be able to return to Moscow for future editions.”
