MosBuild 2012: booming activity

By early July, more than 80% of MosBuild was already reserved
Nine months to go and space is already at a premium for Russia’s largest trade event. More than 80% of exhibition space for the two week period in early April 2012 has already been reserved.
MosBuild is a popular exhibition for suppliers and manufacturers from around the world. The strength and long term business potential of the Russian market, combined with the success of this well established exhibition combine to make MosBuild a world-class event.
Such is the scale of MosBuild that it cannot be accommodated in one venue in one week. In 2012, MosBuild will take place over two weeks. Week one, from 02 to 05 April will feature a range of exhibition sectors, broadly covering the design and decor aspects of the industry. Week two, from 10 to 13 April focuses more on building and architecture.
Week One: 02 to 05 April
This week will feature some of the largest stands at the entire MosBuild event. The Ceramics sector will again be boosted by the presence of Russia’s main players, principal amongst which will be Kerama Marazzi. Other big names confirming their participation include Atlas Concorde, Keramin, Piastrella, Villeroy & Boch and Keraton.
It’s not just manufacturers of ceramic products who will be displaying their wares at MosBuild 2012. Suppliers of ceramics manufacturing machinery, equipment and technology will form the Technoceramica exhibition. The association of Italian manufacturers of machinery for the ceramics industry (ACIMAC) have already confirmed their participation at next year’s event.
Visitors can expect to see beautiful displays in the Bathrooms exhibition featuring market leaders such as Jacob Delafon, Roca Group, Hansgrohe and many others.
Flooring and floor coverings will be well represented with Kronostar, Pergo, Coswick, Balterio and Quick-Step all taking part. Paints & Coatings will feature Frans' Decor, Finkraska, Decorum, Design Interkraska, San Marco and ABC Farben amongst others. Wall Decor will include exhibits from companies such as Empire Decor, KOF palette, Rosstayl and Erismann and Decotex will include Decolux, Amigo and Exterio.
Doors & Locks companies have reserved their space at MosBuild 2012. Sofia followed the lead of Volhovets and confirmed their participation. Likewise, the confirmation of Barausse was followed by a number of other companies such as Mottura, Oro & Oro, Ontario Corporation, Rav Bariach, as well as a national group of Italian manufacturers of doors, locks and accessories.
Week Two: 10 to 13 April
The second week of MosBuild 2012 sees a focus on building and architecture. The Building Materials & Equipment exhibition will include names such as KNAUF, Rockwool and Saint-Gobain, Tegola, URSA, and many others.
The exhibition Structural Finishes is an integral part of the building & architecture week. The leading players in the decorative plastics materials sector have already confirmed their participation at the event. These include Alta Profil, who is known for its bright and colourful stands. Other well know names who will be present include Albes, Spetsstroy, Torgovaya Ploschad, Terna Polymer and Petushinski Metal Works Factory.
Stone manufacturers in the Stonex exhibition will feature Kamrock, White Hills, Caesar Stone and others.
Windowbuild will dominate a large section of week two and will include world leading comapnies such as Schueco, STL Montblanc, DoorHan, LG Hayus , Funke, Artec, Hoermann, U-kon Engeneering and Elumatec.
Hardware & Tools available in Russia will also form a major part of week two with Tekh Krep, Elmos, Stroibat and Krep-Komp participating.
Lighting & Electrics, Country Construction and Plumbing & Pipes complete the line-up of exhibitions for week two of MosBuild 2012. Each sector features a host of major players such as Uniel, Teplyi Svet, Gira, Jung, Gewiss, Laitstar.ru, Industriya Uspekha, Laboratoriya Otopleniya, Hotspring, Master Spas and Giga Light.
The amount of companies booking space well in advance of next year’s event indicates a market in buoyant mood and an appetite to seek business opportunities through a proven trade event. The advice to companies, who haven’t yet booked their space, is to hurry!
