Crocus Expo is a brand new venue, its doors opened in the spring of 2004. It too is located on the banks of the Moscow River but on the outskirts of the city on the Moscow City Beltway (outer ring road). Its capacity will increase dramatically in 2006 with a new centre being constructed next door to the existing venue. Crocus Expo is part of a complex that is also home to Tvoy Dom (home and interiors mega-store), Crocus City Mall (high class boutique shopping centre) and the Shore House (elite yacht club, restaurant and hotel).

Expocentr and Crocus Expo are deceptively close to each other. Their nearest metro stations are on the same line and separated by only five stops. Driving between the two can take as little as 30 minutes but those who have experienced Moscow traffic will appreciate that on a bad day and any distance could take hours!

How to get there

It is easy to get to the expo centre by subway (the closest stations are "Tushinskaja", "PLanernaja", "Molodegnaja") and by car. "Crocus Expo" is located on the inner side of MCAR (65km) — that gives an optimal way to get to it for heavy load transport and cars.

Apart from that, during the exhibitions the transport department of "Crocus Expo" is helping to help exposition visitors to get to the centre and back from the subway station "Planernaja" for free.

Opposite from the expo centre there is a parking for 5,000 cars. After the finish of the second pavilion construction there will be an additional transport crossing, that will allow the participants and guests of the exhibitions to get to "Crocus Expo" from the outer side of MCAR.
