In the year 2005 the exhibition, famous earlier as Baltic Building Week and Batimat St.Petersburg, will be held under the new name "BalticBuild". This title provides consistency with the other building exhibitions of the ITE Group in Moscow and CIS (MosBuild, KazBuild, BakuBuild etc.). The new name "BalticBuild" will allow to reach two goals at once: to show the coordinated work of ITE Group PLC not only in Russia but also abroad and to emphasise the international importance of the St.Petersburg exhibition.
The event has attracted much praise in recent years: it was twice the winner of the "Best International Project of the Year" (2001, 2002) contest as "The Best St.Petersburg Exhibition with most effective foreign participation".
The BalticBuild exhibition will be held under the auspices of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
In 2006, the BalticBuild exhibition will celebrate its 10th anniversary. Over the years, the exhibition has become the second event in Russia both in terms of significance and scale.
