"The BishkekBuild 2005 Exhibition is the first international event held this spring in the Kyrgyz Republic. Participation of foreign construction companies in the exhibition, their coming to Bishkek is significant for us. We can say it for sure that BishkekBuild 2005 has become an event contributing to the development of the region's construction industry, attraction of investments to this sector of economy, establishment of interregional and international ties, and consolidation of our country's business authority," noted Ishimbai Kadyrbekov, First Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, at the official exhibition opening ceremony.
According to the exhibitor Mr. R. Frenz, Director of the Representative Office of Willing EuroAsia, "It was not easy for us to make the decision whether to participate in BishkekBuild 2005 or not — it was just the time when the well-known events were taking place in the capital of the Kyrgyz Republic. Many people doubted. Now we can say that we made the right decision. The company has acquired about 100 new contacts, and about 40 of them are very important for us. The price of only one contract signed during the exhibition made up 10,000–15,000 Euros".
Svetlana Kazantseva, Technical Manager of the Kyrgyz company Ronas LLC, official distributor of Schneider Electric, noted: "During the exhibition we established over 300 contacts, of which about 50 are most interesting for us. We are completely happy: our stand was visited by heads of plants, designers, and engineers".
The event efficiency assessment has shown that 30% of the exhibitors made sales right at the exhibition, 66% of the exhibitors established useful contacts with 20 to 50 and more companies. It is noteworthy that 91% of the exhibitors believe to get a feedback from the contacts established at the exhibition within the next 1–3 months. 44% of the exhibiting companies and 95% of visitors have already confirmed their participation in the 2006 event.
