The DIY Forum returns to MosBuild on its opening day, providing an unmissable event for DIY retailers, manufacturers and suppliers of building and finishing materials.

Speakers will include senior managers and leading experts from Leroy Merlin, Petrovich, Maxidom and other chains, as well as international DIY market experts.

The focus of the DIY Forum 2020 will be on developing online trading for building and finishing materials and household goods.

Today, many major DIY retailers are implementing various online strategies: some have launched their own online stores, others are working with specialised online marketplaces, while others are still testing options and analysing the market. Retailers who have already developed an omnichannel strategy continue to develop, and despite a consumption stagnation, many are showing double-digit growth in 2019.

International expert Steve Collinge, Managing Director of market intelligence agency for the home improvement industry Insight Retail Group (UK) and regular speaker at the Global DIY Summit, the world’s largest DIY event, will speak at the forum on the digital transformation of retail, the development of Do-It-For-Me services, offline shopping experience and online stores.

The forum will continue to have themed content blocks. In the Analytics + Trends block, experts will discuss the current situation in the DIY market, while the Marketing + Digital block will cover how to promote a business in the digital era. INFOLine news agency, a strategic partner of the forum, will present their rating of DIY chains in Russia as well as an analytical report on the market that has already become an annual favourite.

The forum will introduce the brand-new sessions:

  • Battle: Your online store vs integration in the marketplace: what to develop and where you can earn more?
  • Session: Three business innovations to invest in in 2020: experts’ recommendations

Stay on top of the DIY and home improvement sector and network with top industry experts at MosBuild’s DIY Forum.
